Hi, I’m Misbah, the founder and lead instructor at Habeebah Driving School. Teaching people how to drive has always been more than just a job for me—it’s a passion. I believe that driving isn’t just about passing a test, it’s about gaining confidence, independence, and the freedom to explore life’s opportunities.

My Journey

I started this school with one simple vision: to make driving lessons less intimidating and more enjoyable for learners of all ages and backgrounds. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping nervous beginners, professionals returning to driving after years, and international drivers adapting to UK roads. Watching their progress—seeing fear turn into confidence—remains the most rewarding part of my work.

Passing Your Driving Test

At Habeebah Driving Schol, our primary goal is to make sure you are a safe and defensive driver. There should be no reason why you cannot pass your driving test first time. You simply need to understand the fundamentals of driving safely and gain experience through practice on a regular basis.

Our driving instructors will guide you through all the required knowledge, understanding and practical skills to help you become a more confident driver with the ultimate goal of passing your driving test.

On the day of your driving test, the driving examiner will assess you whether you’re a safe driver or not.

The driving examiner will check if

  • You have appropriate control over the car.
  • You are marking safe judgemental decisions.
  • You can spot hazards early and respond to them correctly.
  • You have the correct attitude of a safe driver.
  • You comply with the Highway Code.

What are the requirements to enrol in driving lessons with Habeebah Driving School?

To enrol, you need to be at least 17 years old and hold a valid provisional driving license.

Do I need any experience before my first lesson?

No, if you are just about to go for your first drive, Habeebah Driving School can help you to quickly grasp the basics. The Instructor will help you overcome any nervousness and get you started in a quiet area to develop your confidence.

What will i need to bring to my first lesson?

Please bring your provisional driving license. If you require glasses to read number plates, please bring them with you as well.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson?

We understand that schedules can change. You can cancel or reschedule a lesson by contacting us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.

How long are the driving lessons?

Our standard driving lessons are typically 2 hours long, but we also offer longer sessions depending on your preference and availability.

How many lessons will I need before I'm ready for my driving test?

The number of lessons varies depending on individual learning abilities. Your instructor will assess your progress and advise you on when you’re ready for the test.

Can I use my own car for driving lessons?

Yes, you can use your own car for lessons if it meets the required standards and is insured for driving lessons with an instructor.

Do you offer discounts for booking multiple lessons?

Yes, we offer discounts for block bookings of lessons. Please inquire about our current offers when booking.
